Woman Found Deceased Near Seth Boyden Housing Complex In Newark

Newark police are asking the public for help identifying a woman found deceased on arrival near the Seth Boyden Housing Complex.

NEWARK, NJ — Newark police are asking the public for help identifying a woman found deceased on arrival near the Seth Boyden Housing Complex on Tuesday, Oct. 30.

According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, the woman was found near 120 Center Street. She was described as a “heavyset black female with no identification or personal property on her.”

Police said that the woman was wearing a white, long-sleeved shirt and red pajamas with white polka dots. The deceased woman has two tattoos on her upper chest (see below photos). One is a rose with a banner with the word love and the name “Lil Mike” under it. The other is an image of cherries with the name “Renee” under it.

Police are seeking the woman’s identity to notify her next of kin.
