Young Boy Shot In Essex County

A six-year-old boy suffered a gunshot wound to his leg in Irvington on Thursday, but is expected to make a full recovery.

The boy was shot around 8 a.m., ABC New York reported.

According to RLS Media, the shooting took place on the third floor of a Crescent Lane apartment building.

Police did not release details about the incident or potential suspects.

“Thank god my grandson is OK,” commented a woman on social media, responding to a series of well-wishes. “Thank you for all the love.”
