HIGHLAND PARK, NJ — The Highland Park police department is asking for the public's help identifying the person accused of breaking into several cars on Graham Street, Cedar Avenue, Valentine Street and South Adelaide Avenue this past Friday and Saturday, Oct. 25 and Oct. 26.

A total of 10 car burglaries were reported between the evening hours of Friday, Oct. 25 and the early morning hours of Saturday, Oct. 26. Each of the 10 break-ins was the result of people leaving their vehicles unlocked, said police.

"Car break ins are crimes of opportunity, with individuals are going through neighborhoods pulling on door handles to see what is left unlocked. Please lock your doors and, if you see something, say something," he said.
