Police say that two teen young men, both 17 and of New Brunswick, stabbed and shot Maroquin-Levya. At present, the murder does not appear to be a random act and the teens and the victim knew each other, said police.
The two teens were located Tuesday of this week in Irvington and taken into custody. They were arrested and charged with juvenile delinquency for offenses, which if committed by an adult would constitute murder and weapons offenses, said the county prosecutor.
