3 Local Teens Chosen for White House Internship Program
Two are Rutgers students.

New Brunswick, NJ - Three Central New Jersey young women, two of which are Rutgers students, have been chosen for the prestigious White House Spring 2016 internship program, the White House press secretary announced.
Tania Makker, of Edison, currently enrolled at Rutgers University was chosen, as was Yasmine Nashed, of East Brunswick and also currently attending Rutgers.
Rebecca Singh, from Sayreville, was also chosen. Rebecca currently attends Northeastern University.

There are more than 100 interns, chosen from an applicant pool nationwide, who participate in the internship each semester. Interns work in one of several White House departments, including the Domestic Policy Council, the National Economic Council, the Office of Cabinet Affairs, the Office of the First Lady, the Office of Legislative Affairs, the Office of the Vice President and more.
