3 Men Shot In New Brunswick Sunday Night

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — Three men were shot at 6:43 p.m. Sunday on New Brunswick city streets, according to the city of New Brunswick.

New Brunswick police officers responded to calls of a shooting in the area of Throop Avenue and Redmond Street.

The preliminary investigation suggests three adult men, ages 29 and 28, both from New Brunswick, and a 20-year-old man from Somerset, had all been shot, sustaining gunshot wounds to their back, foot and ankle respectively.

However, all three men gave police conflicting accounts of what happened, and were uncooperative with police. The investigation is ongoing.
