He did not know the woman; she was a stranger to him and he also recorded her multiple times as she drove from New Jersey to Delaware, said police.

On April 23, Middletown Police were called to the ER at ChristianaCare Hospital in Newark, Delaware for a report of a suspicious person.

Security officers in the hospital told police they saw a man, identified as Onukogu, on surveillance video getting into and then sitting in the rear seat of a woman's car.

Further investigation revealed that Onukogu followed the woman, a stranger to him, from New Jersey as she drove to Delaware, and recorded her at multiple locations without her knowledge.

Police said he then followed the woman to the ER, where he entered the rear of her vehicle and concealed himself while she was inside receiving medical treatment.

Onukogu was initially held at the Howard R. Young Correctional Center in Delaware, but he has since been arraigned and released on a $5,000 cash bail.
