Piscataway Non-Profit Launches Internet Museum About Alexander Graham Bell

They just launched a free digital museum about the 150th anniversary of Alexander Graham Bell's invention of the telephone.

PISCATAWAY, NJ — The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the world's largest technical professional organization and headquartered in Piscataway, just launched a free digital museum about the 150th anniversary of Alexander Graham Bell's invention of the telephone.

The exhibit is completely digital and free to access. All the exhibits, documentaries and interactive games can be accessed here: https://history.ieee.org/programs/ieee-global-museum/.

The digital exhibit also showcases personal documents, research sketches and historic photographs from Bell’s life and work, as well as business records that date back to the 1870s from the Bell Telephone Company.

Visitors can also test their knowledge with an interactive quiz.

The exhibit also features exclusive commentary from Google Internet evangelist Vint Cerf on how the early telephone system literally laid the groundwork for today's internet and AI revolution.

IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organization and is a public charity dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. Bell was one of the co-founders of the IEEE.
