Married Female Prison Guard Had Sexual Relationship With Inmate, Feds Say

NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A woman who lives in North Brunswick and worked as a prison guard at Fort Dix military base was criminally charged after she is alleged to have had a years-long sexual relationship with a male inmate.

Jordan Pensak, 27, of North Brunswick, is charged with sexual abuse of an individual in federal custody, federal prosecutors announced here July 29.

Pensak worked as a prison guard at the federal prison at Fort Dix.

The relationship between Pensak and the inmate was consensual, say prosecutors. She is said to have begun the interactions with a man on her unit shortly after April 2024, and it lasted until January of this year, when it was discovered.

Other prisoners were paid to keep their relationship a secret, according to the federal complaint against Pensak. The two would meet in an office while other prisoners were paid to look out for guards, according to court records.

Cellphones were also confiscated by authorities with more than 100 graphic images and videos of Pensak and the man on them.

After obtaining a search warrant for Pensak's personal phone, detectives found messages where she referenced the relationship with the inmate that had been going on "for the past year."

She also spoke of getting "high" with the inmate while at work.

Pensak appeared to have a pregnancy scare earlier this year, according to the criminal complaint, in which she messaged a former inmate asking if he was "ready to be an uncle?"

Pensak is reportedly married to another man.

She then continued talking with the same individual and highlighted the way it would look "If the baby black and my husband white and Korean?!"

She is also accused of lying to a jail supervisor in order to save the relationship.

"They can't prove nothing," Pensak wrote. "If I quit I think they stop pursuing it."

Pensak was released on bail last week and faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in jail if convicted.

Federal Corrections Institute Fort Dix is a low-security federal prison on the grounds of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, which is located near New Egypt. Its most famous inmate is currently Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, who is currently serving a 50-month sentence there for transportation to engage in prostitution. He is scheduled to be released in 2028.
