SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ — A South Plainfield woman driving a motorcycle was killed Saturday night.
The woman is identified as Sierra Grey, 27, said Middlesex County Prosecutor Linda Estremera.
At 7:22 p.m. Grey was driving a motorcycle when she was hit by an older man driving a Subaru Outback at the intersection of Ledden Terrace and Clinton Avenue.
Police say the Subaru was making a left onto Ledden Terrace from Clinton Avenue when it was struck on its front drivers' side by a Honda SBR1000 motorcycle, driven by Grey.
Grey succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The man, 79 and also a South Plainfield resident, sustained no injuries.
No criminal charges or driving violations have been filed at this time.
