Officers rally around N.J. cop discharged from hospital after being struck by vehicle (nj.com subscription) β A Woodbridge police officer struck by a vehicle while helping a pedestrian was treated at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick and discharged Thursday to a cheering escort of officers. New Brunswick police and county law enforcement lined the hospital hallway in support, as the union thanked RWJ staff and noted the officer faces a long recovery ahead.

KONTUSION: Dismal Death Crew Announces East Coast Tour MMXXVI With Hedonist; Debut LP Out Now On Profound Lore Records (wordpress.com) β New Brunswick metal fans can catch KONTUSION's East Coast Tour stop at Cinco de Mayo on December 3, 2026, part of a weeklong run with Hedonist. The New Jersey/Washington, D.C. death metal band is touring behind its debut album, offering local listeners a chance to see the full lineup live close to home.

5. Morrisville Resident Pleads Guilty To Federal Bank Fraud Charges (delawarevalleynews.com) β A New Brunswick man is among several defendants who have pleaded guilty in a large bank fraud conspiracy involving more than $11 million in stolen Treasury and commercial checks. Federal prosecutors say the group deposited stolen checks in New Jersey and Pennsylvania banks using fake business documents and accounts, then split the proceeds. Many of the checks were Employee Retention Credit refunds issued during the pandemic.
