Attempted Carjacking Sunday Night Near Rutgers Campus
The victim said two men, both wearing ski masks, tried to steal his car at approximately 8:40 p.m. on High Street near Hamilton Street.
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — There was an attempted carjacking Sunday night near the Rutgers campus in New Brunswick, said police.
The victim said two men, both wearing ski masks, tried to steal his car at approximately 8:40 p.m. on High Street near the intersection of Hamilton Street.
He said the two suspects entered his car and when he tried to get the perpetrators out of the vehicle, one of them punched him with a closed fist.

The perpetrators fled on foot and have not been apprehended. The victim was treated on scene for his injuries.
