Cars In Rutgers Parking Lots Broken Into

Three cars were broken into on May 8 and 9 while parked in Rutgers campus parking lots.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — Three cars were broken into on May 8 and 9 while parked in Rutgers campus parking lots, according to Rutgers Police Chief Carmelo Huertas, Jr.

The cars were parked in Lots 99A and 99B, located at 45 Biel Road West, in the city of New Brunswick. Two people affiliated with Rutgers told police they parked their cars there on May 8 and when they returned May 9, they discovered the interiors had been rummaged through and various items of value were missing.

No signs of forced entry were reported.
