Cat Killed In Piscataway House Fire Monday Afternoon

PISCATAWAY, NJ — A house fire broke out in Piscataway Monday afternoon and a cat was killed in the blaze, according to a Piscataway Twp. spokesman.
The fire broke out at a home on the 100 block of Park Avenue shortly after 2 p.m.
Nobody was injured in the fire, but the family's cat died inside the burning home. The fire started on the deck and grew from there into the home.
