Cedar Hill Prep Students Participate in Union Beach Clean-Up
Students and Families Demonstrate Community Spirit and Environmental Stewardship

On Saturday, September 28, 2024, despite windy and rainy conditions, Cedar Hill Prep School's Coach Frankie and a group of dedicated students and their families participated in the Union Beach Community Clean-Up Day. Braving the elements, the team spent over two hours cleaning the beach, dunes, and jetties, making a tangible impact on the local environment.
The team included A. Kahlon, a 6th grader, and his parents, along with L. Parekh-Patel, a 5th grader, her sister A. Parekh-Patel, an 8th grader, and their parents. Together, they joined Coach Frankie early on Saturday morning, demonstrating a strong commitment to community service. Despite strong winds and intermittent rain, they worked tirelessly to collect trash and debris, helping to preserve the beauty of Union Beach.
Union Beach residents and public workers expressed their gratitude for the team’s efforts, offering many thanks for their dedication to keeping the beach clean. In recognition of this service, Coach Frankie will receive a mini-grant on behalf of Cedar Hill Prep School in November, honoring the school's commitment to community involvement and environmental stewardship.
