DNC Head Donna Brazile Speaks at Rutgers Monday Night

Rutgers - Donna Brazile, the interim chair of the Democratic National Committee, is scheduled to speak at Rutgers Monday night. Brazile is a longtime and well-respected operative in the Democratic party, and she was appointed as interim party chair in August, after Debbie Wasserman Schultz stepped down when leaked emails showed Democratic party leaders conspiring against Bernie Sanders. The theme of her talk is "civic responsibility." She is on campus to encourage young people to vote, reported the Daily Targum, Rutgers' student newspaper. Less than 23 percent of millennials voted in the 2014 midterm elections. The deadline to register to vote in the upcoming Nov. 8 presidential election is Tuesday, Oct. 18.
