Driver Injured In Wrong-Way Crash On Route 130: Report

The collision happened shortly after 5:30 a.m. Sunday near Huff Road, according to a report.

NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A South River man driving the wrong way on Route 130 was injured in a head-on crash Sunday, according to a report citing police.

The 40-year-old man was driving a convertible north in the southbound lanes near Huff Road when his car collided with a truck shortly after 5:30 a.m., NJ Advance Media reported. He was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.

The driver of the pickup — a 22-year-old Carteret man — was hospitalized with minor injuries, the report said.
