Alex Markowits, President/CEO of the Spring Hills Senior Communities headquartered in Edison, was honored to receive the Philadelphia Business Journal and Archer & Greiner, P.C. 2013’s South Jersey Entrepreneur Award.

On June 27, he was presented the award at a luncheon ceremony held at The Merion Inn in Cinnaminson, NJ, by James H. Carll, Chairman of Archer & Greiner’s Board of Directors. Markowits received the Award in the Economic Impact Category for large companies.

Markowits is a state-wide leader in senior living whose company owns and manages three communities in the state of New Jersey, including Spring Hills Somerset and Spring Hills Morristown.

The Spring Hills Cherry Hill Luxury Assisted Living Community opened in late 2011 and has made a great addition to the South Jersey community, converting a large closed hotel in a prominent location and remodeling it to provide best-in-class assisted living and memory care with the finest amenities.
