Fall 2012 Featured Artists

September 19
Andy Eulau, upright bass and Bob Quaranta, piano
Bassist Andy Eulau and pianist Bob Quaranta bring a wealth of jazz performance
experience in both concert halls and clubs. They will perform a variety of jazz
standards and popular songs from the Great American Songbook.

October 10
Trillium—Jill Crawford, flute; Marjorie Selden, viola; and
special guest Ena Bronstein, piano
The trio will play a program of French music featuring the works of Duruflé,
Hahn, and Martinů. Crawford, Selden and Barton bring to their collaboration
notable careers in ensemble and solo performance and as teachers at Westminster
Choir College and Conservatory.

October 24
Shea Velloso, organ
Organist Shea Velloso will present a program featuring Dietrich Buxtehude's
Præludium in g minor, Eugène Gigout's Grand Chour Dialogué, Herbert Howells'
Rhapsody in C-Sharp Minor, and other works.

November 14
Daniel Swenberg, lute and guitar
Swenberg will offer a program of baroque lute music with a concentration on
English and Scottish music c.1690-1740 and including music by Jacques de Saint-
Luc commemorating the war of Spanish Succession. Known for his historic
performance practice on various lutes, guitars, and theorbo, he performs with
ensembles such as: Rebel, Dryden ensemble, Artek, and the Metropolitan Opera.

Recitals are at the First Reformed Church, at the corner of Nielsen and Bayard Sts. Enter at 9
Bayard St. The building is handicapped accessible.
