The Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers, on the College Avenue campus, is pleased to announce The Food Architects as the new management team for Z Café, which reopens Tuesday, March 5.
Z Café’s hours are Tuesday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.; it also is open until 9 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month for Art After Hours.The location offers the university community and museum visitors a convenient and tasty dining option on Voorhees Mall. In addition, Zimmerli members receive 10 percent off purchases as a benefit. The new Zimmerli menu features a variety of breakfast, lunch, and snack items. The Food Architects use fresh, seasonal ingredients for their homemade salads and soups, as well as grab-and-go or gourmet sandwiches. Their pastries and breads are delivered daily from a Manhattan bakery and they brew coffee from a local roaster. Z Café is accessible through Voorhees Hall.
