'First Fridays' Block Party Friday Afternoon At Monument Square
From 3-5 p.m. Friday, come for music, free Jamaican patties, face painting and a mural installation from New Brunswick High School teens:
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — Kick off your weekend on Friday, March 10 with a "First Fridays" event in Monument Square Park in New Brunswick.
From 3-5 p.m. join organizers for music by DJ Lady Star, complimentary patties by The Jamaican Patty Wagon, face painting by Meraki Face and Body Art, caricatures by Matthew Many, a mural installation by New Brunswick High School art teacher David Lago and New Brunswick High School students, and lots of good vibes to kick off the early spring season!
In the event the weather is a challenge, First Friday activities move into the second floor of the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center (NBPAC).

Also, from 12-4 p.m. this Friday is one of the last Mini Winter Markets in Highland Park — including food trucks, food vendors and more. Every Friday on Raritan Ave. from 12-4 p.m. until the end of March. The Highland Park regular farmers market season starts the first Friday in April as always.
