Food Delivery Man Robbed In New Brunswick

The man said that after dropping off food on Baldwin Street, he was approached by a man, who entered his car and robbed him.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — A man delivering food late Tuesday night was robbed in New Brunswick, police report.

The man was delivering food at approximately 11:53 p.m. Tuesday night, March 11 on Baldwin Street between Jones Avenue and Nichol Avenue.

The man said that after dropping off the food at a private home, he was approached by a man, who entered his car and pushed a hard object against his body. Two additional male perpetrators removed items of value from the vehicle and all three fled the area towards Jones Avenue.

The victim was not physically injured as a result of this incident. The descriptions of the perpetrators are limited at this time.

It is not known if the food delivery was to Rutgers students. The deliveryman was not a Rutgers student. New Brunswick city police are investigating.
