Highland Park Police Seek Adult They Say Spoke To Girls

HIGHLAND PARK, NJ — Highland Park police say they are investigating an incident where a pedestrian approached two girls in the town.

The adult in question is being sought.

Highland Park police say the adult — they did not specify whether it was a man or a woman —approached the girls at the corner of Woodbridge Avenue and Inza Street, and said something to the two girls. Police did not reveal what was said.

Police said there was no physical attack or sexual assault, but the verbal exchange was serious enough that the Middlesex County Prosecutor's office was called and they are now assisting in the investigation.

"As we progress on this investigation, we will release more information as appropriate," said Highland Park police.
