HIGHLAND PARK, NJ — Mark your calendars! Highland Park’s 14th annual Arts Festival will be Sunday, September 16 this year! This is a juried art show, arts & crafts sale featuring local Highland Park businesses, food trucks, a youth art show, live music and performing arts.

Artist and vendor registration closes September 7. Sign up at mainstreethp.org/artsinthepark. This year’s festival is the biggest one ever, with over 220 artists and vendors selling art, food, and crafts under tents along Raritan Avenue (Rt. 27) in Highland Park.

Arts in the Park, Highland Park New Jersey’s annual arts street festival, showcases fine arts and crafts from all over the region and shines a spotlight on Highland Park’s vibrant and diverse arts scene.

This outdoor juried art show and street fair draws thousands of people to the streets of Highland Park to enjoy top-notch art, music, and food while exploring Highland Park’s downtown as a shopping and dining destination.

Juried Art Show & Arts and Crafts Sale
The street festival is filled with arts and crafts from a diverse group of artists from around the region who come to showcase and sell their artwork as well as participate in the juried art show, which features cash awards for first, second, and third places in eight categories: Graphics/Drawing/Printmaking, Fine Crafts, Mixed Media, Textiles/Quilts/Needlework, Painting, Jewelry, Photography, and Sculpture.

Youth Art Show
Downtown Highland Park businesses Over the Moon Toys & Through the Moongate are organizing the annual Youth Art Show. This year’s theme is “Oh the Places You’ll Go...and How You Plan to Get There!” Kids 18 and under can create a masterpiece that shows the place you’d love to go and/or how you’d like to get there, and should submit artwork by Friday, September 14 to Over the Moon Toys 440 Raritan Avenue, Highland Park. Any medium can be used. All submissions must be ready to display. All artwork will be displayed at Arts in the Park, Sunday, September 16.
