Highland Park Tree Lighting, Gingerbread House Competition And More

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — The weekend after Thanksgiving will be a Small Business Marketplace in Highland Park.

From Nov. 25 through Nov. 27, all the stores in Highland Park will be out in force and there will be many community events to get everyone into the holiday spirit. The Christmas tree lighting will also be at 7 p.m. Nov. 26 with caroling and even an appearance from Santa Claus.

Nov. 25: there will be an outdoor farmers market from 11 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Including the walk-up mobile vaccine clinic and Christmas trees for sale: mainstreethp.org/farmersmarket

1. The Gingerbread Houses will be displayed on Saturday Nov. 26 at the Night Owl Market.
2. Houses will be accepted on Saturday from 1 - 5:45 p.m.
3. Entries are not limited to the structure of a house. Competitors are welcome and encouraged to uniquely design their entries for the 2022 competition.
4. Voting will be done by the general public on-site. Voting starts at 6 PM and ends at 7:30 PM.

Downtown Tree Lighting, 7-8 pm. With caroling from the Highland Park Community Chorus, and an appearance from Santa Claus with the Highland Park Fire Department!
