Joe Biden To Speak At Rutgers Oct. 12
Biden will be talking about preventing sexual violence on campus. The event is open only to Rutgers-New Brunswick students.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — Joe Biden, the 47th vice president of the United States, will encourage students to take a stand against sexual violence on college campuses when he visits Rutgers University-New Brunswick next Thursday, Oct. 12.
Biden will discuss “It’s On Us,” a national campaign to end sexual assault on college campuses. The campaign was launched in 2014 following recommendations from the White House Task Force to Prevent Sexual Assault.
This event is sponsored by the Rutgers-New Brunswick Division of Student Affairs in support of the End Sexual Violence Campaign and Turn the Campus Purple Week, an initiative from the university’s Office of Violence Prevention and Victim Assistance.

The event, which will be on the College Avenue campus, is open only to RU-New Brunswick students.
