Local Man, 25, Shot And Killed In Piscataway Tuesday Night

The shooting happened at 11:30 p.m. in the area of Rock Avenue and West 4th Street:

PISCATAWAY, NJ — A 25-year-old local man was shot and killed in Piscataway Tuesday evening, announced Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Piscataway Deputy Police Chief Michelle Pilch.

The man killed has been identified as Isaiah Benbow, 25, of Piscataway.

At approximately 11:29 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to the area of Rock Avenue and West 4th Street following a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located one man who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

Benbow was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
