Lyft Offers $5 Off Code Just For Rutgers Students

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — Hey, incoming Rutgers students: There's a new text code to put in that gets you $5 off rides this fall if you're going to any of the below campus destinations.

Students are using services like Lyft and Uber more than eve; at top universities in large cities, less than 7 percent of students had vehicles on-campus, with select schools reporting zero percent in the 2016-2017 academic year, according to a survey by U.S. News & World Report. The latest data from Lyft shows that Rutgers students are using rideshare to get to class, to football games, and even to the Menlo Park Mall.

This fall, new Lyft users can use the code BACK2SCHOOL18 to earn $5 off per ride for up 5 rides to anywhere off campus or one of the top destinations below:

5. Busch Campus Center
6. Menlo Park Mall
7. Allison Road Classroom Building
8. Newark Liberty International Airport Station
9. Livingston Apartment Building C

12. Barnes & Noble
13. Hilton East Brunswick
14. Rutgers Business School
15. Hickman Hall
