Man Charged In New Brunswick House Party Sex Assault

An arrest has been made in the Feb. 19 sex assault of a Rutgers student at a house party on Easton Avenue:

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — On Feb. 19, a Rutgers student said she was sexually assaulted by an unknown man while she was attending a house party in New Brunswick.

On Saturday, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and New Brunswick Police Director Anthony Caputo announced an arrest had been made.

Luke Moorehouse was charged with kidnapping in the first degree, sex assault in the second degree and fourth-degree criminal sexual contact.

The party was held inside a home on Easton Avenue, and the woman was sexually assaulted in the home at 12:30 a.m. The young woman, an adult, is a Rutgers student, said Rutgers University police.
