Man Shot And Killed In Piscataway Last Week

At 3:58 p.m. Thursday, police responded to the area of Washington Avenue and West Fifth Street in Piscataway following a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located and performed lifesaving measures on a man who sustained apparent gunshot wounds. He has been identified as Alphonso Brown, 22, of North Brunswick

He was transported to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The Middlesex County prosecutor has not released any further details about what happened and no arrests have been made.
