Middlesex County Road Closures

A water main break forces a road closure in Franklin and construction impacting other roadways in the area.

South Brunswick Police Traffic Safety Bureau has reported several road closures and construction projects that may impact travel through the area.

Deans Lane in South Brunswick will be undergoing construction for the next two weeks from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., police said. The roadway will be reduced to one lane with alternating traffic between Blackhorse Lane and Georges Road. Police suggest planning for added delays to travel or using an alternate route to your destination.

Route 518 from Route 27 to the canal in Franklin will be closed starting today until Jan. 30. A detour has been posted.

Laurel Avenue in the Kingston section of Franklin has been closed after a water main break. Repairs are expected to be made and the roadway is expected to be reopened by late this afternoon, police said. Laurel Avenue runs off Route 27.
