New Brunswick Appoints New Municipal Court Judge

The Middlesex County lawyer will begin his term in September.

Attorney James P. Hoebich has been appointed to serve as the presiding municipal court judge for the City of New Brunswick.

Hoebich has been practicing law in the county since 1996 as a partner in the New Brunswick firm Cahill, Branciforte & Hoebich and specializes in municipal law. He received his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and has served as a municipal court judge in three Middlesex county municipalities.

“Having closely worked with Judge Hoebich, I have come to know him as honest, bright, articulate, just and fair,” Mayor Jim Cahill said. “Coupled with his experience as a municipal court judge, he is eminently qualified.”
