New Brunswick Football Team Falls to Carteret
New Brunswick scored on a 37-yard interception return, but dropped to 0-4.

An interception return for a touchdown was one of the few highlights for the New Brunswick High School football team as it fell to Carteret, 45-14, on Friday night, according to nj.com.
Carteret took a 26-0 lead before New Brunswick hit the scoreboard. Maurice Ffrench put New Brunswick on the board with a 12-yard run in the second quarter. In the third, a New Brunswick defender picked off a Carteret pass and returned it 37 yards for a score.
Those two plays weren't enough to prevent New Brunswick from dropping to 0-4.
New Brunswick returns to the field Friday night at Iselin Kennedy, 7 p.m.
