New Brunswick Leaf Bag Pick-Ups Begin

Each resident can pick up 20 leaf bags for free.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ-- All New Brunswick residents can pick up 20 leaf bags for free through the Department of Public Works, Wednesdays through November.

Between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM, residents can pick up their biodegradable bags at the City DPW building at 400 Jersey Avenue. A Saturday pick-up date will be held on Nov. 12 between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM.

Need extra? Additional packs of ten can be purchased for $3.25 a pack.

proof of residency must be established, so remember to bring a New Jersey drivers license, current deed, tax bill or utility bill with a current address.

Leaf bags will be collected on Wednesdays in November and December, and all leaves must be in biodegradable bags. More information on collection schedules can be found here.
