New Brunswick Store To Participate In Free Comic Book Day

More than two million comic books are expected to be distributed to young readers on Saturday, according to the event’s website.
Free Comic Book Day is an annual event held to help kick off Children’s Book Week, which runs from May 4 to 10.

The New Brunswick Free Public Library will have comic-themed crafts and raffle prizes to celebrate the day. That event runs in the Teen Room from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

- Main Street Comics & Toys, 74 North Main St., Milltown

- Comic Sanctuary, 135 Easton Ave., New Brunswick
The Fords shop will also have free door prizes for the first 20 adults and children in line, a costume contest for children and adults, and visiting artists who will sign their art.
