New Brunswick Teacher Surprised With $490 Walmart Gift Card
The big surprise came during Lynn He's AP Calculus class

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ-- A New Brunswick High School math teacher got a big surprise during her AP Calculus class yesterday-- a $490 Walmart gift card for school supplies.
Accompanied by Walmart representative, Superintendent Aubrey Johnson and Principal Jorge Diaz interrupted Lynn He's class to surprise her with the gift card. The $490 will help buy classroom supplies for Ms. He's room.
Walmart has been surprising teachers across the nation as part of a program to reward excellent teachers, and off-set out of pocket costs. Ms. He was chosen after having perfect attendance and having a "highly effective" rating the past two schools years.
