Pat Hobbs, Seton Hall Dean, Named Rutgers Athletic Director
He'll make $110,000 more a year than Julie Hermann did.
Patrick Hobbs, a dean emeritus at Seton Hall Law School, was named late Sunday as the new Rutgers Athletic Director.
Hobbs replaced embattled and controversial AD Julie Hermann.
The turnaround was quick: Hobbs started his new job first thing Monday morning. He has a five-year contract worth $560,000 a year, according to NJ.com. That’s $110,000 more a year than Hermann pulled in when she held the top spot.
