Piscataway Man Arrested On Child Pornography Charges

Piscataway Police received a cyber tip that an IP address at his home was downloading the materials.

PISCATAWAY, NJ — A Piscataway man was arrested at his home Wednesday and charged with possession of child sexual abuse material (child pornography).

Michael Bain, 55, was arrested without incident at his home after detectives executed a search warrant of his home and computers. It is alleged that Bain possessed more than 1,000 items of child sexual abuse material.

Piscataway Police received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that an IP address located at Bain's home was downloading the materials.

He is charged with second-degree possession of child sex abuse material and currently being held at the Middlesex County Jail.

This case was investigated by Detective Sean Morelli of the Piscataway Township Police Department. Anyone with
