Piscataway Man Killed In Monmouth County Motorcycle Accident Saturday
The Piscataway man driving the motorcycle was killed Saturday, and his passenger, a woman, was seriously injured.
MARLBORO, NJ — A Piscataway man driving a motorcycle was killed Saturday and his female passenger hospitalized after they were involved in a three-vehicle crash in a rural part of Monmouth County.
Both the man, 40, and woman, 32, are from Piscataway. The man was identified by police as Ralph T. Slugg, 42.
The crash happened shortly before 3 p.m. on Saturday in the area of Tennent Road and Peregrine Drive in rural Marlboro Township, said Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey.

The three cars involved in the crash were a Ford Explorer driven by a Long Branch woman, 46, a GMC Acadia driven by a Hillsborough man, 52, and the Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by the Piscataway man, with the woman behind him.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, and his female passenger was rushed via medical helicopter to Jersey Shore Regional Medical Center. Her injuries are serious, said the county prosecutor, but not believed to be life threatening.

Both the Long Branch woman and the Hillsborough man remained at the scene and they were not seriously injured, said police.
No charges have been filed at this time.
