Piscataway Walmart Sells $840,823-Winning Lottery Ticket

PISCATAWAY, NJ — The Piscataway Walmart sold a lottery ticket last week that won big in the Friday, Nov. 5 drawing.

That lucky ticket won the $840,823 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot in the Nov. 5 drawing, said the NJ state Lottery.

The ticket matched all five numbers drawn. The winning numbers were: 03, 21, 29, 31 and 45 and the XTRA number was: 05.

A winner has not been identified. The Walmart will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for the winning ticket sold.

Here are other local winners that won the $50,000 third-tier prize in the Saturday, Nov. 6 drawing:

  • Monmouth County ($100,000): Aberdeen Exxon, 1164 Route 34, Aberdeen;
  • Burlington County ($50,000): WaWa #369, 270 E. Green Tree Rd., Marton; and
  • Morris County ($50,000): 7-Eleven #38115, 151 Columbia Turnpike, Florham Park.

The winning numbers for the Saturday, November 6, drawing were: 08, 30, 48, 57, and 64. The Red Power Ball number was 09. The Power Play was 2X.
