Police Investigate Threat Made To New Brunswick High School
Police patrolled the school grounds at New Brunswick High School Monday, after the threat was made online, said the superintendent.
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — A threat was made to New Brunswick High School on Monday morning, said school superintendent Aubrey Johnson in an email to parents.
"Administrators became aware of the possibility of a threat posted online," he wrote. "The New Brunswick Police are aware of the threat and are actively conducting an investigation."
"Preliminary investigation indicates that the message was sent online as a result of a previous incident in which the police are aware," he added.

On Monday morning, New Brunswick Police were on site at the high school, but all schools in the district remained open Monday and students and staff were safe, said the superintendent.
