Police Seek Dog Running Loose Through Rutgers Village
New Brunswick Police are currently trying to capture a dog running loose through the Rutgers Village/Edgebrook neighborhood Wednesday:
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — New Brunswick Police are currently trying to corral and capture a dog running loose through the Rutgers Village/Edgebrook neighborhood Wednesday afternoon.
"The city has received multiple complaints about an unsupervised dog roaming through the Rutgers Village and Edgebrook neighborhoods," New Brunswick Police said at 1 p.m. Wednesday. "The Police Department and Animal Control are aware of these complaints and actively trying to locate the animal. If you see an unsupervised dog roaming the area, please call the police department's non-emergency number, (732) 745-5200, and report the dog's location and the best physical description of the animal you can."
Do not approach the dog, police warn.

"Make a report to the police department and let animal control officers locate and secure the dog safely," said New Brunswick Police.
Animal Control officers are on the scene.
