A Rutgers behavioral health building in Piscataway has been evacuated due to police activity Thursday morning; police are on the scene.
PISCATAWAY, NJ — A Rutgers University building in Piscataway has been evacuated due to "police activity" Thursday morning, according to Rutgers campus police.
At 9 a.m. Thursday, Rutgers University Police tweeted that there was police activity at 671 Hoes Lane in Piscataway.
"Avoid the area, evacuate the building and follow instructions from authorities," said police.

It remains unknown exactly what is going on, but a Rutgers University spokeswoman said they would be releasing an official statement soon.
671 Hoes Lane West in Piscataway is this facility that houses Rutgers University behavioral health and provides psychiatric services for children, teens and adults.
