Rutgers Graduation Will Be May 14; Prepare For Traffic In Area
The 2023 Rutgers commencement ceremony will be from 10 a.m. to noon May 14.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — The 2023 Rutgers commencement ceremony will be from 10 a.m. to noon May 14.
As always, graduation ceremonies will be held at the Rutgers SHI football stadium in Piscataway.
This will be the graduation for Rutgers New Brunswick main campus, and Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences. An estimated 13,789 graduates will receive degrees this year.

As previously reported, Emmy-award winning actress Sheryl Lee Ralph, of the sitcom "Abbott Elementary," is this year's Rutgers commencement speaker.
Ralph graduated from Rutgers in 1975. While at Rutgers, she performed in theater and in campus plays and went on to star in the Broadway musical "Dreamgirls," for which she was nominated for a Tony award.

After her speech on May 14, Ralph will also receive an honorary doctor of fine arts degree from Rutgers. Honorary degrees will also be given to former chair of the Rutgers Board of Governors Mark Angelson and award-winning neurosurgery professor Katalin Karikó.
Rutgers Camden's graduation is May 15; Rutgers Newark graduation will be May 16, held at the Prudential Center.
