Rutgers Makes Decision On Friday Classes

Rutgers closed all offices and canceled all classes from 2 p.m. Thursday through 10 a.m. Friday, the university announced.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — Perhaps already expecting it will take New Jersey some time to dig out from under the snow, Rutgers announced Thursday afternoon they will have a delayed start Friday, Jan. 5.

Rutgers University closed all offices and canceled all classes from 2 p.m. Thursday through 10 a.m. Friday, the university announced.

The roads are very dangerous, with dozens of accidents reported all across New Jersey, but particularly on the NJ Turnpike. This photo above was taken by police near Rt. 32 in South Brunswick Township this afternoon. None of the accidents so far are fatal.
