Rutgers Set to Hire New Football Coach: Report
According to multiple reports, Rutgers has decided on a hire pending formal approval.

The new Rutgers football coach will likely be Ohio State defensive coordinator Chris Ash, according to multiple reports.
Ash’s hire is pending approval from the university’s Board of Governors, which is set to meet at noon on Monday, the Asbury Park Press reports. An introductory press conference will follow.
Just last week, Rutgers fired both Athletic Director Julie Hermann and head football coach Kyle Flood. Patrick Hobbs, a dean emeritus at Seton Hall Law School, replaced Hermann.

Flood already faced a suspension or firing because of “impermissible” contact with a university faculty member regarding the status of one of his players, according to media reports.
