Rutgers Student Sexually Assaulted In Dorm Room
Breaking: A Rutgers student was sexually assaulted while sitting in her dorm room Friday, Oct. 13 at 4:30 p.m. Her attacker is college aged.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — A Rutgers student said she was sexually assaulted while sitting in her dorm room with the door open on Friday, Oct. 13 at 4:30 in the afternoon. The attacker may have been a fellow Rutgers student, as he appeared to be of college age, she told campus police.
The attack happened at approximately 4:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 13 in Mettler Residence Hall located on the College Avenue campus in New Brunswick. The victim reported that while sitting in her residence hall room with the door open, an unknown male entered the room and began to kiss her while also touching her chest and groin over her clothing. The victim reported that she was able to distance herself from the male and demand that he leave the area. The male then complied and left in an unknown direction.
There were no physical injuries as a result of this incident. Descriptions are limited at this time, Rutgers police said, but the perpetrator is described as a thin, college-aged white male with blonde hair.
