Search For Half-Naked, Bloodied Woman Who Allegedly Asked For Baby, Stole Van

A half-naked and distraught woman who appeared to be bloody stole a van from a New Brunswick convenience store on Sunday, according to eyewitnesses.

Now police are likely looking for the woman who was last seen at the store.

Manoj Patel, the store owner, said he watched security footage from the incident and the woman appeared to be distraught, and asked a store employee if they could find her missing baby, according to nj.com.

The woman later exited and hopped into a cargo van parked directly outside, and sped off from the Park Deli Too convenience store on Commercial Avenue on Sunday afternoon, according to nj.com.

The woman appeared to be bloody, according to news12.com.

A station chief with the New Brunswick Police Department declined to provide details, referring to the department spokesperson, according to nj.com.
