Teen Shot In New Brunswick, Suspect Charged: Police
The shooting took place in the early morning hours of May 7 near Seaman Street and Drift Street, officials said.
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - A 16-year-old was injured in an early morning shooting in New Brunswick over the weekend, officials said.
The shooting took place at around 2:15 a.m. on Sunday near Seaman Street and Drift Street, New Brunswick city officials said in a Facebook post.
The teen was shot in the shoulder and was treated at an area hospital for the non-life threatening injury, officials said.

The suspect in the shooting has since been arrested and “charged accordingly,” the post reads.
Neither the suspect’s name nor the listed charge(s) were made public as of Monday morning.
