An unattended bag briefly stalled an NJ Transit train that departed from the New Brunswick station Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 11.
Rt. 18, College Avenue, George Street, River Road, Hoes Lane, Metlars Lane and the John Lynch and Landing Lane bridges will be congested.
A sinkhole 8-10 feet wide and 25-30 feet deep opened up on George Street between Bishop St. and Commercial Avenue Saturday afternoon.
At 4:52 a.m. Christoph Freese, 45, of New Brunswick, was struck and killed while attempting to cross Rt. 18 near Commercial Avenue.
Breaking: Rt. 18 southbound near the George Street ramp is CLOSED due to flooding, New Brunswick police announced as of 8 a.m. Monday.
